Asian hair is usually straighter, thicker in diameter and denser than fine European hair. That changes almost every decision in the chair. A blunt line shows every millimetre, so weight has to be removed internally. Perms need larger rods and different timing to avoid a tight, artificial curl. And because the natural pigment is dark, lightening exposes warm orange tones that have to be lifted and toned deliberately.
